Privacy

Reflenn (operated from Ukraine) is built privacy-first. You can use it anonymously — no email or name required — and your reads stay tied only to you. This page explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

What we collect

• What you write. The text you enter for a read is sent to our analysis engine to generate your pattern and stored so you can return to it. It is never sold or used for advertising.
• Account basics. A device identifier for every install — it’s what free reads, purchases, and a one-time referral bonus follow — and, only if you choose to register, your email address. This identifier is designed to survive deleting the app or your account, so the same phone can’t reopen a used-up free read or claim a referral bonus twice.
• Invites. If you invite someone, we record that connection — who invited whom — so we can credit you a point once they join. If you arrived through someone else’s invite, the app checks your clipboard exactly once, right after install, to recover the invite: a silent check for whether it looks like a web link, and only if it does, iOS’s normal “Allow Paste” prompt to read it and pull out the invite code. Nothing else on your clipboard is read, and its raw content is never sent to us, logged, or used for tracking.
• Points. We keep a running history of points you earn (from purchases and invites) and spend, so your balance and activity stay accurate.
• Abuse prevention. To stop invite and sign-up fraud, the app may send us a device-specific security token (Apple’s DeviceCheck) that only Apple can resolve — we cannot read anything from it ourselves. We store it until you finish signing up, which is when it is used and erased. If you never finish signing up, it stays on file, because there is nothing to trigger the erase. Sign-up and invite requests also record the IP address they came from, as a counter that blocks automated abuse. It is not a log of what you did, and it is dropped once the next request to the same endpoint moves the counter to a new window — usually within minutes, though a quiet endpoint can hold the last one longer.
• Payments. The web app takes no payments. Unlocks are in-app purchases handled by Apple in the Reflenn iOS app — we only ever learn that a read was unlocked, never your card details.
• Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count how many people reach each screen. It runs in cookieless mode: analytics storage is denied before the tag loads, so it sets no analytics cookies and cannot follow you across sites or devices. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are switched off. What we send is the shape of the page you are on, never the address itself — a read is reported as “a report page”, never with its id, and never with your words. Google processes this data for us, including on servers in the United States.
• Cookies. Two, both ours, both strictly necessary. One keeps you signed in (60 days; it is the only thing standing between an anonymous account and losing it). One remembers that this browser already used its free read (5 years), so the free read cannot be reopened endlessly. Neither is used for advertising, and there is no third-party cookie on this site.

How we use it

To generate your reads, keep your history and workbook, process one-time purchases, and count screen views so we know which parts of the product people actually reach. That’s it — no third-party ad tracking, no profiles sold or shared.

Your control

• Read anonymously, with no personal details attached.
• Delete your account and every report at any time from Profile — this is permanent and irreversible. Three things intentionally survive deletion. Your device identifier and the record that this phone already claimed a referral bonus both stay, so the same phone cannot reopen a used-up free read or farm referral bonuses by reinstalling. The record of a purchase stays too, stripped of who made it: the amount, the product and Apple’s transaction id, with your account no longer attached. We keep it because it is the accounting record that money changed hands, because refunds are matched against it, and because without it a receipt could be presented again as if it were new.
